Risk assesment

For our media thriller there is a lot of factors that could make our film dangerous to film therefore causing a risk for our film.

Risks

1)      Hanging scene – in our media thriller the hanging scene has a lot of risks. To stop this from being a danger we have changed the way this scene will be filmed. When we first came up with the idea we decided that we would use a harness and a loose rope around the neck to show that the character is being hung. However this could result in serious injury. So therefore we have decided to just imply that he has been hung with the actor who is being hung sitting on someone’s shoulders so that he isn’t actually dangling from the tree, this therefore removes all chances of the actor actually being hung from the tree.

2)      Public viewing – when filming the hanging scene we need to make sure it is out of public viewing this is because that if they was to see someone hanging from a tree their first thought wouldn’t be good, this could result in them calling the police. Therefore this scene should be filmed in a discreet location. We have found this area just off Biwaters football pitch, in a little of cut of the forest where no one goes, therefore this scene will be filmed there.
